Beetlejuice – The Musical at Queen Elizabeth Theatre

In Beetlejuice, the main character, Betelgeuse, is a bio-exorcist demon who is fascinated with returning to the world of the living. Once Betelgeuse gets to know that Barbara and Adam Maitland have fallen through the floor of their beloved home, he sees an opportunity to attain what he wants. The recently deceased will be allowed to leave if they can persuade a living person to say their name three times. His clearly laid strategy quickly falls through after he finds out that one of the new housemates is the sassy and resourceful Lydia.

She puts Betelgeuse through some tests that he would have not expected, and wins over the minds of the Maitlands in the process. As this unorthodox group of oddballs tries to find common ground and define their own individuality, hilarious antics ensue, whether they are living or dead.
