The story starts - It is 1962 and Tracy has hopes of appearing on the local TV dance program, The Corny Collins Show, but is met with no, it can’t happen. Yet, Tracy proves people wrong and after getting a role in the show with her spunky attitude and swinging hips and becoming a celebrity overnight. But she learns that there are injustices in her hometown that she cannot abide. What will unfold when Tracy and her pals and family stand up to the wrongs in their town?
