The “Second Best Night of Your Life” is waiting for you on Friday, February 16, with the special courtesy of Brett Goldstein LIVE at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre! After selling out the first leg of his inaugural North American tour, the Primetime Emmy Award winner extends the trek with 13 new shows on the road. What else needs to be said? You’re going to see the gruff yet lovable Roy Kent of the Golden Globe Award-winning comedy series “Ted Lasso” in the flesh, and oh boy, he’s got some very colorful words to share. As co-creator of Apple TV+’s critically acclaimed dramedy “Shrinking,” Brett Goldstein will hit you square in the jaw with quick-witted quips and wisecracks that occasionally dip into darker subjects. He’s a little quirky. Definitely sexy. But most of all, he’s raring to give you a side-splitting night of offbeat comedy in front of the Queen Elizabeth Theatre’s classical backdrop. Book your seats now!

He’s been here. He’s been there. And, frankly, he’s been every-f*cking-where since the first round of his inaugural tour. But because you’ve been clamoring for it, Brett Goldstein’s gonna do it all over again this 2024, adding over a dozen performances to his renewed North American outing. Give your sweethearts a little post-Valentine treat as the star comes barging into the Queen Elizabeth Theatre on February 16th!
“Brett Goldstein's Second Best Night of Your Life Tour promises an evening of laughter and entertainment as the beloved actor and comedian showcases his wit and humor. With a strong background in comedy and a successful transition into acting, Goldstein has undoubtedly become a multifaceted talent to watch out for.”
Yep. It’s him, alright. The big ol’ gruff with a heart of gold from Apple TV+’s Golden Globe and Peabody Award-winning “Ted Lasso” sports comedy — the one-and-only Coach Roy Kent! Our featured comedian will draw a little spirit from his footballing alter-ego to get you giggling with hilariously colorful language you won’t catch from a PG-13 movie. But beyond that, “The Second Best Night of Your Life” is the FULL Brett Goldstein experience. Creative commentaries. Whimsical wisecracks. Hysterical dark humor. Everything goes as the artist pulls all the inventiveness he relied on as a co-creator and writer of the Jason Segel-led comedy-drama “Shrinking.” Outlandish at times, yes, yet still so irresistibly charming.
As with most of his peers, Brett Goldstein started as a humble stand-up artist, which unwittingly led to his breakout as an actor in cult classics, including “Howl” and “SuperBob,” not to mention a mid-credits tease in Marvel’s “Thor: Love and Thunder” as the mighty Hercules. He also currently hosts the critically acclaimed “Films to Be Buried With” podcast and boasts several accolades from major institutes. Those awards from the Writers Guild of America, Screen Actors Guild, and Primetime Emmys just aren’t for show, you know? So Brett’s gonna give you one hell of a performance to really hammer in how much of a superstar he’s already become.
Brett Goldstein’s in the house! This Friday, February 16th, the rising star will meet you at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre — Vancouver’s #1 venue for the performing arts. Modestly sized at around 2,800 capacity, the theater presents a classical ambiance, with first-class amenities to delight you, from plush seats to exceptional sightlines to cutting-edge lights and acoustics.
