If there ever were two artists that were born to share the stage, it has to be these two. Made as if they were two peas in a pod, PAUL BRANDT and TERRI CLARK share a lot, from the same dress sense to being from the same state. Canada has given us a great many things, and Paul Brant is one of its most prized country musicians to ever come out of the country. He has been making hits for a very long time now—26 years to be exact and fans can't get enough of him.
Originally signed to Warner/Reprise Records, he made waves when he brought out his debut single, "My Heart Has a History," that was included in the outstanding album, Calm Before the Storm." The single shot him up to the top ten in both Canada and the States and brought him international success as one of the hottest up-and-comers in the country. In fact, the single made the top ten on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, making him the first Canadian to do so since 1974.
Later, he created his own label, "Brand-T Records," where he released his third album, This Time Around, in 2004 and all of his follow-ups since, including A Gift in 2006, Risk in 2007, Give It Away in 2011, and Just as I Am in 2012. All of which brought him amazing success and honors, such as a CMA, a CMT, several CCMAs, Juno Awards, GMAs, and many other accolades.
Joining him on tour will be Terri Clark, who has also had huge amounts of success both in Canada and the States. Her career took off with her self-titled debut album in 1995. She followed that up with a further two albums, "Just the Same" (1996) and "How I Feel" (1998). All three albums were certified platinum and produced a plethora of top ten hits in both countries.
Her discography includes a further nine albums: Fearless (2000), Pain to Kill (2003), Life Goes On (2005) The Long Way Home (2009) Roots and Wings (2011) Classic (2012) Some Songs (2014) Raising the Bar (2018) and It's Christmas…Cheers! (2020), and all told, I have given the world 20 singles with six number ones.
While both of these artists are outstanding performers in their own right, combined, they create a phenominal duo that is sure to make one of the most memorable country music evenings on the planet. You cannot afford to miss out on all the fun, so be sure to grab your tickets right here and now before they run out!!!
