A winner of multiple Indian singing competitions, he has established himself through hard work and pure skill and talent. His career is still in its early years, which is why there is so much more to expect from this rising musician.

Salman Ali is a native of Punhana, Nuh. He was
born in the town on January 14, 1999. Blessed with powerful vocals, he grew up in a family that lived off of singing. At least four generations of his family were singers. Ali's father is a singer who did gigs at events in their town, usually accompanied by his mother, who plays the harmonium. His exposure to music came from joining his parent's work. Sooner than later, he joined their performances, honing his voice and, at the same time, mastering the harmonium.

In 2011, the Indian singer joined the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs, a popular singing competition for children. He bested competitors week after week and impressed judges. He went on to compete in the final rounds. He was proclaimed the runner-up against winner Azmat Hussain. Years after, he came back to the TV screen as he competed on the 10th season of Indian Idol, which is considered to be the most popular and prestigious TV singing competition in India. His audition was a hit among the judges. He left with praises, and people started to look forward to his performances throughout the show. As he went through the semi-finals, he became a favorite. A front-runner, he went on to compete in the finals. He won against Ankush Bhardwaj.

Right after his TV stint, he became a sensational singer. He released songs for TV shows and movies. His first song to be featured in a movie is "Sab Badhiya Hai." Others followed with "Bas Tum Mere Paas Raho" being the most recent in his discography.
